Certification

The 2005 / 2006 test has been updated to make sure it complies with current National JB Guidelines. The test is fully automated such that it is easy to complete and grade.

The new certification test is password protected, and only districts / churches / leagues that have signed up to use this test have been provided with passwords. If you are interested in signing up to certify your officials, send an e-mail to michael@bqtest.org.

PLEASE NOTE - AFTER COMPLETING EACH SECTION OF THE TEST, YOU MUST GO TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TEST AND CLICK THE "GRADE TEST" BUTTON TO GO TO THE NEXT SECTION. IF AFTER CLICKING THE "GRADE TEST" BUTTON" YOU DON'T GET A GRADE BUT INSTEAD GET SENT TO THE LOG-IN SCREEN, CLICK THE "BACK PAGE / ARROW" BUTTON ON YOUR BROWSER. THIS WILL TAKE YOU BACK TO THE PAGE WITH ALL YOUR ANSWERS. CLICK "GRADE TEST" AGAIN AND CONTINUE THIS UNTIL YOU SEE YOUR GRADE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE. Some notes about the test:

It is a web based test.
The test is in four parts - General Guidelines, Scorekeeping, Timekeeping, and a Tally Test.
You can take any part of the test but can only get a certificate after you have completed all parts of the test.
If you have to come back and complete specific parts of the test later, remember to enter your identification information exactly as you did the first time you logged in (the system will remember what you have already done, so you don't have to start over).
When you submit your final answers and get a grade of at least 70% you will be sent to a Certificate page where you can print your Certification document.

Prior to taking the test, please use the information below to complete a "Tally Sheet" (a score sheet of sample test match). You will need this information to complete Part 4 of the test. Use a standard JBQ scoresheet. Click here to open this match in PDF format so you can print them out.

Tally Test Information Below is information required to complete a sample match tally sheet.
Complete a tally sheet exactly as you would for a regulation match. Fill in all requested information on the tally sheet. Watch for special situations! Use a blank tally sheet (located in the Official Guidelines) as an aid, if necessary.
